The General Service Administrationâs 18F organization said in a blog post published Thursday that teams from seven agencies will undergo training with experts from 18F, U.S. Digital Services and Presidential Innovation Fellows.
Training areas that Digital Acquisitions Pilot will cover include acquisition and procurement, product strategy, policy and law, data management, cybersecurity, user research and engineering.
The pilot initiative also aims to improve collaboration with partners as well as change policies and procedures with regard to the procurement of digital products.
OFPP also issued a memorandum that seeks to facilitate the adoption of novel procurement approaches for products and services across the government through the establishment of Acquisition Innovation Labs at 24 agencies.
