GSA Appoints Scott Anderson, Bruno Kelpsas as Regional Administrators

Scott Anderson, former director of services delivery and property management at the George Washington University, has been appointed as the General Services Administration‘s regional administrator for the National Capital Region.

Anderson will be responsible for GSA’s operations in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, including oversight of federal real estate and information technology, the agency said Wednesday.

He previously held property management and contract negotiation roles for higher education campuses and federal agencies.

GSA also named Bruno Kelpsas, a former technical project manager at Worldlink, as regional administrator for the Northwest Arctic Region.

Kelpsas will manage GSA’s operations in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington, including 428 employees and an inventory of 508 government-owned or leased buildings.

He has more than 16 years of IT experience in the public and private sectors, in areas such as blockchain, cybersecurity and cloud computing.
