Peter Reddy, acting executive director of Naval Information Warfare Center, has been appointed to assume his role on a full-time basis.
He will identify NIWC’s strategic objectives and oversee the business and engineering activities across a workforce of over 4.9K personnel, the U.S. Navy said Friday.
The former warfighter served as a U.S. marine for three decades, with duties in the areas of command, control, computers, communications and intelligence.
Reddy joined NIWC Atlantic to hold a chief engineering role for the center’s sub-portfolio on expeditionary enterprise systems and solutions.
He then went on to fill other roles in NIWC such as Marine Corps and Special Operations Command portfolio systems engineer and deputy executive director.
