Millennium Challenge Corp. Seeks Deputy CIO to Help Manage Agencywide IT Programs

JobAdMillennium Challenge Corp. is looking for a new deputy chief information officer to work at the U.S. foreign aid agency’s headquarters in Washington and help its CIO oversee agencywide information technology operations.

MCC said in a USAJobs notice posted Monday it seeks a deputy CIO who has experience in full application development lifecycle, agile development, cloud computing and mobile technology.

The incumbent of the post will help plan, coordinate and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing IT functions, infrastructure and management information systems across the agency’s enterprise.

The chosen candidate will also be responsible for the formulation of IT-related policies and guidelines as well as collaborate with internal coordinates, interagency working groups and nongovernmental committees to address IT challenges.

Congress established MCC in 2004 to provide financial assistance to partner countries in support of efforts to reduce poverty and create a sustainable economy.
