Donald Trump to Nominate OMB Adviser Margaret Weichert as Deputy Director for Management

President Donald Trump has nominated Margaret Weichert, a senior adviser at the Office of Management and Budget, to serve as deputy director for management at the agency, the White House posted Saturday.

Weichert has 25 years of professional business experience, including her work at Market Platform Dynamics, Bank of America and Andersen Consulting, where she contributed in developing business processes for banking and payments applications.

She worked at Ernst & Young as a principal, holds credit as an inventor with 14 U.S. patents and has served with the Technology Association of Georgia’s financial technology steering committee since 2010.

Weichert also co-founded internet firm Achex, which was later acquired by First Data in 2001.

She earned a degree in foreign service from Georgetown University and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
