The department also requires information on technologies designed to help users deal with supply chain risks in ICT-based services, the DHS said Friday in a FedBizOpps notice.
Information gathered from the sourcing would help the government manage due diligence research based on unclassified data.
The department intends to conduct this kind of research to assess ICT vendors and their products for stakeholder knowledge.
To do this, DHS will need an automated, scalable technology that delivers consistency, facilitates information sharing, centralizes the procurement of data sets and aligns with similar practices.
Responses to the sourcing are due Oct. 10.
