One Hemisphere CEO Todd Weiler to Be Nominated DoD Manpower, Reserve Affairs Assistant Secretary

PentagonTodd Weiler, founder and CEO of consulting firm One Hemisphere Ventures, will be nominated by President Obama to the role of assistant secretary for manpower and reserve affairs at the Defense Department, the White House announced Monday.

Weiler launched One Hemisphere Ventures in 2008 and worked as vice president at Computer World Services from 2009 to 2010.

He is also a former chief operating officer at Arrowpoint, which he co-owns, and chief information officer and vice president of the Communities in Schools organization.

Before he joined the private sector, Weiler served as the U.S. Army‘s deputy assistant secretary for manpower and reserve affairs for six years, acted as the White House’s liaison to DoD in 1993 and spent four years as an Army aviation officer.

His military career also includes service in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
